Consignment Sales Information

Welcome to the Consignment Sales Information Section!

If you are an ADF member interested in selling your creations through the online store and at festivals, this is the place for you!

We have made several changes from the way that consignments were handled in the past, so please read over the information below, and in the contract - Consignment Sales Contract, carefully .

All people consigning items to the ADF store will be considered "vendors."

The highlights from the contract include:

  • Vendors will be required to have an IRS form W-9 on file with the Administrator. This can be either a tax ID number or your Social Security number.
  • Vendors will be paid quarterly by check. At the end of the year, the vendor and the IRS will receive an IRS form 1099, to show the amount of income received from ADF as an Independent Contractor.
  • Vendors are responsible for shipping items to festivals, and back after the festival is over, unless it is agreed in advance for the store to take them during the summer festival season.
  • Vendors will "drop ship" items sold in the online store directly to the purchaser, unless they are being kept by the store during the summer season.
  • All items to be sold must be approved by the ADF Store Manager.
