As the Earth falls into sleep the Queen of Spirits is choosing those who will go to the Cauldron of Rebirth. She is Morrigan, the Great Queen of Phantoms, the Chooser of the Slain. She is the Battle Raven, the Red Woman, Mistress of the Cauldron.

This is an example of a ritual created according to the original ADF liturgical outline. The English prayers were written by Sally Eaton, myself, and others.

The following books are decent and fairly readable retellings of classic mythological tales. The list includes books for adults and children.

The following chants are appropriate for the part of the ADF liturgy where we call to the spirits of the land and nature surrounding our rite.

This is designed to be performed within the standard ADF format, with the changes given. As part of the ritual briefing it must be determined how many people will be taking part in the bannock rite, so the number of pieces the bannock must be cut into will be known.
